When was the last time you saw a haberdashers on the local high street? Not recently we would bet. This was the opportunity that Empress Mills saw when they asked Northstar to redevelop their existing website.
The Company produces sewing threads for both the craft/hobby markets as well as industrial sectors. They realised that for the thousands of sewing hobbyists there was nowhere for them to buy threads and sewing accessories.
Northstar developed an Actinic based website that enabled the Company to sell their full range of threads and accessories online. The Actinic software is easy to use, highly customisable and very search engine friendly.
Since the launch of the new site sales have boomed and the company has recently relocated.
