What’s the difference between Digital Foil and Foil Blocked cards?

Apart from cost and suitability for small or large volumes, the key differences are the finish that is achieved from either processes. Digital foils sit flat on the card surface. They must be foiled onto a laminated surface which gives a lovely smooth finish.
Foil Blocked cards on the other hand have a slightly indented appearance. The process applies the foil under pressure using a special die which stamps  your design onto the surface. The process gives a slight indentation to the foiled area giving it traditional appearance. Each process has its own merits, it just depends on your budget and the finish that you want to achieve.
