Important: Design tips for creating perfect artwork.

BLEED: All our In-Design templates incorporate 1.5mm of bleed on each edge. This is indicated by purple lines 1.5mm from each edge of the page and are located on the Trim layer. If you have graphics, images or blocks of colour going up to the trim line please extend the item beyond the trim line to the edge of the page. This ‘Bleed’ will be removed when trimmed.

QUIET ZONE: Avoid placing important elements such as text and logos too close to the edge. The templates include an imaginary ‘Quiet zone’ which is 4mm from the trim edge. Avoid placing these important elements in this zone

ARTWORK: Place your artwork on the ‘Foreground layer’

COLOURS: Convert all images and colour (including Pantone spot colours) to CMYK format. Any colours saved in RGB format may result in unexpected colour tones.

RESOLUTION: Ensure pixelated images and graphics are at least 300dpi at the size to be used for best result

RICH BLACKS: If using a solid black, use a rich black. We recommend 40C, 0M, 0Y, 100K, or 40C, 40M, 40Y, 100K

CREATING A PRINT READY PDF: Turn off all layers except the Foreground and Finishing layer, use the ‘Press Quality’ Presets in the print menu
